Upcoming Trips

Our aim is two-fold: to serve and impact the people of Gwayi River while at the same time impacting the lives of those volunteering in our team. Besides the actual life-experience of serving in Zimbabwe, we have also seen incredible impact in the lives of volunteers through our leadership input sessions and our life-on-life mentoring throughout the trip.
Why don't you join us on our next trip?

The Volunteer Camp

This beautiful remote bush camp is situated in between the local villages and farmlands which overlooks the Gwayi River. We have 10 large two-man tents with a double/queen bed in each, separate restrooms with running hot water for boys and girls and a large dining area where we are served all our home-cooked meals by our head chef, Freddie. Lastly, our fire pit is famous for hosting many campfire games and stories.

Our Stories

The Zim trip was an amazing experience. It showed me how privileged I was and how I can use what I've been given to help people who are less fortunate. I formed really strong connections with many different people on the Zim trip and it is something that I would 100% do again!

- Bradley Smith

Still today I remember the amazing experiences of my first Zimbabwe outreach trip. For me as a High school student I think it was a very formative experience that changed my whole perspective of the world. Being part of this team made the trips that much more memorable, pulling together to serve the Gwayi river community. I learned from being in Zim that back home we should take more time doing things that are important such as growing faith and building character. You will definitely see me at the next Zim trip.

I personally felt like a changed person after the Zim trip. I really felt connected to my inner African roots and the community is soo loving and accepting us in to their culture.

- Daniel Smith

My experience in Zimbabwe was truly eye opening. Being there with some of the most amazing people I’ve known helped me in more ways than I can explain. I learned about who I am as a person. I learned teamwork skills. I made amazing friends and amazing memories. I got to experience other cultures first hand and got to experience a different lifestyle. It truly is an awakening trip that I would suggest every child goes on.

Going on the Zim outreach trip was definitely a life changing experience, when we were making our way to zim I had no idea what to expect but little did I know it would have as much a  impact on my life as the people who’s lives we help to make just a bit better. Zim taught me many lessons that I can take with me throughout my life such as the importance of teamwork as well as how truly rewarding it is to help others no matter how big or small. It was definitely something I would love to do again and again

Where do I even begin!
It was the best experience of my life! The lessons learnt, the friends made and my life changed. I feel like I left Zim with a new perspective of my life. I have so much respect for the people of Gwayi River... I’ll go back in a heartbeat!
